Zeldapedia Spammings

Apparently, one of our Wiki users has been spamming Zeldapedia. I sincerely hope that it's not anyone from Zelda Dungeon, but if it is, I really must ask you to cease and desist at once. You're inciting rage amomgst the ZP members. I was flamed and spammed because two ZP admins thought I was the ZP spammer. I had to get my talk page protected, as did Alter.

Also, I'd like to ask people not to shout back at any angry ZP users. Instead, notify an admin.

We SERIOUSLY need to improve our relations with ZP, so we need the spamming to stop. Thanks for reading, guys.

I'm sure most people, or at least the Masterminds, on Zelda Wiki can agree that behavior such as this is unacceptable, even if done on another site.

Perhaps what could be done to both deal with the spammer and improve relations with Zeldapedia is we could have a collaboration between the two sites? Specifically, I mean compare IPs. I'm not sure if sysops or bureaucrats on wikis are able to do that sort of thing, but if they were, the issue could be easily resolved and the culprit caught. That's not to say it would make it impossible for him to continue to harass ZP or ZW for that matter, but at least he would be identified and kicked out.

AXLE! YOU'RE A GENIUS!!!

Yes, they can check IPs. I'll ask Kmil or CC for the spammer's IP and then I'll have one of our guys check it out.

Thank you. I've done mod and admin work before and have used clever tactics to find things out. Although I'll confess my sister helped me come up with this particular solution.

But you're sure that Wiki admins can view IPs? I know it's something that can be done on regular forums almost always, but I don't know a lot about how Wikis work...

Actually, they can't. I was wrong.

We're working on it, still, so we'll see what turns up.
